Slow Cooker Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2lb Brussels sprouts (cut in half or quarters depending on size)
  • 2 Medium shallots (sliced thin)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sherry
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 2-3 cloves garlic (sliced)

Directions

Step 1
Put all ingredients except water and cornstarch into slow cooker.
Cook on high for hours
Step 2
Mix cornstarch and cold water together, add to slow cooker and stir well
Cover slow cooker again, and cook for ten more minutes until sauce thickens
