I love caponata!  It is a summery, sweet and sour mix of Italian deliciousness.  I rarely make it, and whenever I do I wonder why I don’t make it more often.  Yesterday I saw some beautiful local eggplants and decided not only to make a batch of caponata, but to make it in my […]

Rhonda - How fun! I love the seven fun facts part. It’s nice to get to know someone better. So, which are your favorite cookbooks? It’s almost like asking which is your favorite child, isn’t it? But I’m very interested in knowing…either about the children or about the books. 🙂ReplyCancel

Tracy@CrazyAsNormal - That was my granny. She could can hot sauce, veggies and jam like no ones business, but everything she cooked tasted like pepper. EVERYTHING. Luckily as she got older she stopped making food for people and just brought them her canned goods – that were completely free of pepper. 😉ReplyCancel

The Chef's Last DIet - It’s tough to choke down food you don’t like because you don’t want to hurt someone you care about. I don’t think I’ve ever found the right way to do that. I once ate something someone made specially for me that I was pretty sure was spoiled, and ended up sick for a week…ReplyCancel
