I love it, and as of today, I declare, no more fighting with food! For as far back as I can recall (and that’s a really long time) I have been fascinated with it. As a four-year-old, I would pry open four Oreo Cookies, take a slice of American Cheese, folded into quarters, and put […]
Erin Owen - I have vivid memories of eating a whole package of Oreos with my father, dunking them one after one into a glass of cold milk. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to say no to sugar and special treats. I crave connection and those treats that I give myself as reward and share with others represents connection with love.
Thank you for what you wrote! I look forward to future posts and to trying your gazpacho recipe – perfectly refreshing and easy to takw to the park or beach for a picnic for these hot days of summer.
Deb - I like the idea of making peace through surrendering to love!

Allison Tibbs - I love the blog idea and thank you for being so open and honest with us about your struggle with food, but more importantly your willingness to embrace it. I believe that you will see great success from this and there are people who are in the same boat and need ways to eat and be healthy, but still love food. I’m always looking for ideas, as well. I will share with my group/database for sure. Thanks!

Great blog about the struggles of food and weight, but learning how to embrace both and move towards being happier and healthier.
Alice Dommert - Nancy, I love it! Let me know how I can support you and looking forward to more of your writing! When can we cook together?
Hugs! Alice
